Сборник подготовлен на основе материалов научно-практической конференции «К 250-летию Института Пандито Хамбо-Лам в России», состоявшейся в ИВР РАН и Дацане Гунзэчойнэй 15—18 сентября 2014 г. и собравшей вместе представителей научных, религиозных и культурных учреждений России, Монголии и Польши. Подготовленная на ее основе книга может быть полезной для востоковедов, религиоведов и всех интересующихся историей буддизма в России.

The book is based on the proceedings of the conference entitled, On the Occasion of the 250th Anniversary of the Creation of the Institution of the Pandito Khambo Lamas in Russia, held at the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts, RAS, and Datsan Kunzechoinei, on September 15—18, 2014. The conference brought together representatives of various academic, religious and cultural institutions of Russia, Mongolia and Poland. The collected papers of this conference will be of use and interest for scholars in Oriental and religious studies, as well as for all those interested in the history of Buddhism in Russia.
